Dr. Chalkley is the most dedicated vet I have ever taken my pets to see. He is incredibly thorough and caring. He takes time with his patients and talks to the owners at length about their pets. You can see how much he truly loves animals and his job. Thanks Dr. Chalkley!

Dr. Chalkely is a terrific vet, not only for appointments and emergencies, but also when our dog boards at Westbury. It gives me peace of mind to know that her doctor is looking out for her when she exhibits "high maintenance" behavior! I agree with other testimonials that he clearly loves his job, and is always incredibly attentive and thorough. There is never a question or issue too small. We love Dr. Chalkley!

We brought a puppy in that we had found and it turned out he had parvo. Dr. Chalkley and his staff did a great job with keeping us informed and gave our puppy the best care possible. His bedside manner is incredible. After 6 days with them our little guy came home and should make a great recovery. When having a puppy that is so sick it was so important to us to have someone as compasionate as Dr. Chalkley. He went above and beyond, always there if I needed to ask a question and believe me I had many questions. The vet tech staff was fantastic also!

Dr. Chalkley is easily the best vet we have ever used in our 10 years as dog owners, from both our dogs' standpoints and ours as owners. He is always friendly, courteous, and truly listens to your concerns and questions. Dr. Chalkley explains why he is performing a particular test or procedure and what he expects to learn from it. He has also done a great job of thinking outside the box when necessary to uncover the source of issues that were not immediately clear. He has a natural rapport with animals and our dogs LOVE coming to Westbury Animal Hospital to see him. The hospital itself is a gorgeous building, clean as a whistle, and the staff has been an absolute pleasure to work with. I recommend Dr. Chalkley and Westbury Animal Hospital to all of my pet-owning friends!

Dr. Chalkley is AMAZING! He took SOSOSOSO much extra time with us in order to build trust and rapport with my naturally suspicious German Shepherd. He goes above and beyond what is expected. He spends a great deal of time explaining everything carefully, he is professional, intelligent and incredibly compassionate. We adore him and feel SO blessed to have Westbury Animal Hospital and Dr. Chalkley to care for our sweet furry boy. ALL the staff members from the front desk until check out are FABULOUS!
