Dr. Rachel Walsh
Dr. Walsh is a 5th generation native Houstonian and a high school
graduate of St. Agnes Academy. She attended Rice University where she
obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. At
Rice University she also competed on the D1 Track and Field team and
was an All American Pole Vaulter for the Owls. She then went on to
attend veterinary school at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine.
After veterinary school, she moved back to Houston with her husband
and started her career in small animal medicine and exotics as well as
served for many years as a board member on the Harris County
Veterinary Medical Association. In addition to practicing medicine,
she is also currently completing her AVCA certification to become an
Animal Chiropractor.
Dr. Walsh’s interests include internal medicine, nutrition, and
alternative therapies. When not working, she enjoys spending time with
her husband, three children, and her Nova Scotia Duck Tolling
Retriever, Sammy.
